Participants can register and receive their badges and conference bags with information sheets at the venue from 8:15 until 9:00 on each day.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n Please register through the form linked below by August 16<\/mark><\/strong> (but the earlier the better, to facilitate planning for the social event):<\/p>\n\n\n\n https:\/\/forms.gle\/LuMgPsucKchGy2jC6<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The registration fees are 50,000 JPY (approximately 300 EUR) for regular participants (not students) and 35,000 JPY (approximately 200 EUR) for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We considered several options to provide the possibility of credit card payments, but they were either expensive, too difficult to set up, or both, so finally we decided that the registration fees are payable either by bank transfer or by cash on site<\/mark><\/strong>. For bank transfers, we recommend using a service like Wise.com, as it is usually much cheaper than a regular wire transfer (one needs to create an account and transfer the money according to the instructions as if it were a domestic transfer).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although the situation is changing, in Japan (especially outside the big cities) you will still likely need cash in some restaurants, smaller shops, taxi, etc., so we recommend that you have access to cash while in the country, even if you pay the registration by bank transfer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The bank account information needed if you prefer to transfer the registration fee is given below. Due to processing times, if you choose bank transfer, please complete it by August 23<\/mark><\/strong>, so we can be sure of receipt by the start of the conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We apologize for any inconvenience these payment arrangements may cause.
