This page introduces our major equipment. The content will be updated gradually.
The routine analyses of the ICPMS Lab are as follows.
Q-ICP-MS, Agilent 7700<\/strong>
Whole rock trace element analysis by acid digestion and alkali fusion
Trace element analysis of water and hot water
MC-ICP-MS, Nu Plasma II<\/strong>
Various isotope ratio analyses (Sr, Nd, Pb, Hf, Ag)
LA-ICP-MS (Q-ICP-MS or MC-ICP-MS)<\/strong>
Trace element analysis of silicate minerals (including zircon) and colored glass
Hf isotope analysis of zircon
U-Pb dating of minerals: We target zircon, carbonates, garnet, cassiterite, apatite, and hematite for U-Pb dating as of March 2026 and plan to target more minerals in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have two ICP-MS (Agilent 7700 and Nu Plasma II) and one laser ablation system (ESI NWR193UC excimer laser). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Metal-free Class-10000 clean room. Two Class-10 clean benches and a fume hood are equiped.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
