The routine analyses of the ICPMS Lab are as follows.
Q-ICP-MS, Agilent 7700
Whole rock trace element analysis by acid digestion and alkali fusion
Trace element analysis of water and hot water
MC-ICP-MS, Nu Plasma II
Various isotope ratio analyses (Sr, Nd, Pb, Hf, Ag)
LA-ICP-MS (Q-ICP-MS or MC-ICP-MS)
Trace element analysis of silicate minerals (including zircon) and colored glass
Hf isotope analysis of zircon
U-Pb dating of minerals: We target zircon, carbonates, garnet, cassiterite, apatite, and hematite for U-Pb dating as of November 2024 and plan more minerals in the future.
ICP-MS Lab

We have two ICP-MS (Agilent 7700 and Nu Plasma II) and one laser ablation system (ESI NWR193UC excimer laser).
μ-XRF Lab

Micro-XRF M4 TORNADO Plus (Bruker, installed in 2022) with AMICS software.
Clean room

Metal-free Class-10000 clean room. Two Class-10 clean benches and a fume hood are equiped.
Rock sample preparation room

We have rock cutters, polishing machines and crushing equipments. We perform sample preparation such as thin section, slab, rock powder and so on.
